Rules
1. Judge/organisers decision and rules are final
2. Horses must not exceed 42" and any horses/ponies under question of height will be measured by a judge or official
3. The college will not be responsible for any loss or damage sustained by exhibitors, horse’s, or equipment
4. Rules on type/breeds:
a. Part bred falabella is a minimum of 50% falabell bloodlines
b. British bred is open to horses with neither parent registered with the AMHA or a falabella society and horses of unknown breeding
5. Cash only will be allowed on the day. Credit/debit cards and cheques will not be allowed on the day.
6. Any animal showing signs of illness or disease will be asked to leave immediately.
7. Smoking is not permitted in any of the arenas, please use bins provided
8. Should competitors be using the stables, please ensure the vaccinations of the horse/pony is fully up to date. The competitor must bring the passport which will be checked on arrival and failure to present a passport will resort in being unable to sable facilitate due to biosecurity.
9. Handler’s/riders should only work in the designated areas.
10. Age of all exhibits will date as from 1stJanuary in the year of birth.
11. Any horse that leaves the ring after the judging commences will be counted as eliminated.
12. No outside interference either physical or vocal is allowed.
13. Depending on the number of entries received, classes may be amalgamated or cancelled at the discretion of the show committee.
14. First and second prize winners must present themselves for the appropriate championship.
15. No person other than the show officials are allowed in the show ring at any time unless invited
Venue rules
1) The Equine unit takes no responsibility for the accident or injuries to horse’s, riders or accompanying persons. Please ensure that you have adequate insurance cover for such activities
2) Rubbish etc. is to be taken home or placed in the bins located around the unit
3) All vehicles to be parked in designated parking areas.
4) No dogs are allowed on site unless previous approval has been received. Dogs must be kept on their leads at ALL times and droppings cleared up.
5) All areas to be left in a clean and tidy state.
6) Please do not skip out onto the show ground
